A well known character from the classic 1965 novel, Dune by Frank Herbert.
According to the book the Baron is "grossly and immensely fat". Unable to carry his own weight he has anti-gravity "suspensors" strapped to his body, beneath his clothes, which sustain most of his fat making him surprisingly fleet of foot.
Due to the screen adaptations I think most people underestimate the Baron's sheer bulk. As for the power of flight, well...

I totally agree about the underestimated weight and the flying thing lol - one of the more accurate depictions I've seen so far... So few people actually pay attention to the books it seems but you've got some good ideas here
